We are often asked to supply hearths for wood burning stoves. Our high quality concrete is a great choice, its fully customisable - we can introduce curves, colours, glass almost anything or keep it simple! Its non combustable, real concrete and our high performance sealer is suitable for use for stoves and bio fires.
From our base in Middlesbrough, Teesside, UK, we craft and deliver custom cut to size, finished and sealed natural bespoke polished hearths throughout the UK. We specialise in polished concrete hearths and offer a variety of shapes and sizes, including: Rectangle, Corner, Triangle, Corner with curve, Corner with semi-circle, Teardrop.
Unlike slate hearths, with polished concrete hearths, you are not limited to the usual one or two shade of grey, usually Grey green slate or graphite slate. With polished concrete we can add coloured pigments to customise colours and shades. We can also inlay other materials, for example a river of glass.

Sealer:
Woven Stone’s concrete products are sealed with a market leading sealer developed in the U.S. It is a deeply penetrating film forming matt sealer rather than an easy to apply impregnator or repellant and retains concrete’s appealing texture. The sealer does not require periodic recoating and is the same sealer we use on our kitchen worktops.
Delivery:
When your item is ready, we'll arrange for it to be carefully packaged on a pallet and delivered to you. An owner's guide will also be included. Delivery is an all-day service, and the driver will use a pallet truck, so please make sure to have enough space available.

Variations in texture, dimension, colour, and aggregate distribution are inherent properties of our hand-made products and should be expected. For example, the colour of the concrete may vary depending on the humidity on the day it was cast.
